Tucked in the corner of the city opposite the FIre Station of Beach Street and Chulia Street junction, there are 2 famous hawker foods can be found here. One is the beef noodle and another one is the fried oyster stall. The fried oyster were previously from the Swatow Lane kopitiam prior to the new building of the New World Park.

Big fat juicy and crispy edge fried oyster. Perfect for tea time snacks.

It is pretty noticeable as it is located right on your right if you come from Chulia Street. As you  reach the junction, Lam Ah Kopitiam is located on your right.

The kopitiam look from the fire station.

The fried oyster is made upon order. It is not fried and put one side. So you can assure the freshness and crispy.

First the egg go in first.

Starch were added too to make it look bigger portion. If the whole plate is egg, the taste is too rich.

When it is half done, oyster were put in and then mix together.

And the result tada ….

A good plate of fried oyster paired with home made chili sauce dipping.
