Sanook Bistro and Sports Bar Kelana Jaya Plaza
Sawadeekap! Sanook de mai? (In Thai means, Hello! Are you having fun?). This is a common greeting in Thailand which slightly different from ours. We usually use Hi, What’s up? There are no reason for it and just a greetings in common.
Base on this word, the God Father of Sanook Bistro and Sport Bar CF Yow named his place. The name god father, people pleaser, chief people pleaser, chief food artist and many more is the position name for the crew and members of the place. This breaks down the barrier of communications among the crew members as it makes them more comfortable.
This place is located side by side the Kelana Jaya lake and were divided into 2 sections. The photo above is called ALFRESCO @ SANOOK which patrons can choose to dine outdoor by the lake or indoor in a romantic setup.
The upper part is called Arriba @ Sanook where it comprise a sport bar with nicely decorated ambiance. Ventilation here is good and instead of the smokey smell, you will smell lemongrass which come from the aroma oil imported from Bangkok.
Clean and cozy place to hang out after long day at work. The range of booze here are enough to quench your thirst. Kilkenny will be my choice of icy cold smooth Irish beer.
Thachi Broken Earth, Bavernet Sauvignon 2006 Australian Red Wine – RM19 per glass
Brewed in Riverland South Australia gives you a dusty chocolate mocha aromas with cassis and oak on the palate. It is quite full bodied and give you a rich taste complimented with a grainy tannin finish. It is good to drink before meals and after meals hence I strongly recommend this wine for all time drink.
For those who can’t take alcohol, you should try out their range of juice and imported Premium Mountain Fresh Fruit Juices.
Variety of drinks served freshed from the bar
