Kuala Lumpur – 14th October 2010 – World famous dumpling specialist Din Tai Fung is bringing a selection of new dishes to complement its current menu of perennial favourites.
Din Tai Fung’s famous Xiao Long Bao (dumplings) are now available in more varieties, namely :
Truffle Xiao Long Bao
Din Tai Fung’s Truffle Xiao Long Bao is a unique blend of black and white truffle to complement the natural flavours of pork within each dumpling. Truffles are rare, edible mushrooms predominantly originating from Italy and France. Farmers use either pigs or dogs to locate them.
Baby Xiao Long Bao
Baby Xiao Long Bao is a miniature version of the original Xiao Long Bao. These mini dumplings are about half the size of regular ones. 12 pieces of Baby Xiao Long Bao are served hot with a bowl of superior broth which has been simmered for at least six hours.
Chicken Xiao Long Bao
Chicken Xiao Long Bao is a healthy alternative for those who prefer the taste of chicken. Din Tai Fung has developed a delicious recipe consisting of chicken and onions. This dumpling is also filled with broth.
This specialty is only available only at Din Tai Fung Pavilion KL from 2pm to 6pm on weekdays and 11am to 1pm on weekends.
