China Gourmet Tour With Hugo Leong – (Day 2 Dinner) : Jianye Restaurant, The Finest Teochew Food In Shantou


Home Made Double Yellow Yee Mee. It is called in such away because it is made by using fresh duck egg yolks and then pan fried till golden yellow.



It is eaten together with vinegar and white sugar. You have to mix it with the noodle before eat. It may sound weird but the taste is nice.


XO Sauce Carrot Cake


Authentic Teow Chew Style Fish Cake which made into noodle form. Then it is stir fried with bean sprouts and chili in light soya sauce. Simple and nice! The fish cake is springy too.



Stir fried home made bean curd with pork and spring onion chili with the stew goose sauce.



Deboned and fillet steam Kwai Far Fish.
