Chi Ka Yin, Authentic Hakka Cuisine at Bandar Puteri Puchong

Chi Ka Yin … means relatives or own people directly translated from Hakka Chinese dialect. Recently I am introduced to this restaurant  by a fellow foodie (Yew Li). This restaurants offer authentic hakka cuisine which was inherited from family recipes.

Braised Duck

Pork Belly cooked with Yam

The portion are just right and also the sauce goes along with a bowl of white rice

House Special Spring Roll which recently been featured in the 8TV Hochak show

Hakka Fried Meat which is cook together with chinese black fungus

Vinegar Pork Knuckle which has a strong taste of vinegar that used in cooking this dish.

Hakka Salted Chicken – Cooked in herbal style and slightly salty. This is not to be eaten without white rice.

Salted Vege Fish – The fish fillet were first fried before put into steam together with salted vege. It was a great combination of taste which slightly sour results from the salted vege used.

Authentic Hakka Yong Tau Fu

Bitter Gourd Salted Vege Soup – Don’t be scared of by its name, its actually bitter-less and very good for health and has a cooling effect towards our body heat.
