Out of so many bak kut teh stalls I have taste in Jalan Ipoh, this is the last stall which started from Batu 4 towards city Chow Kit area. The reason why I like this stall is that they are following the traditional style of cooking the bak kut teh soup. Traditional way of cooking Bak Kut Teh suppose to be the herbs cook together with pork ribs only. The rest of the shop is cooking it with mushrooms, cabbage, bean curds and so on.
The best selling dish in this shop is their soya sauce stew pork. Go early as this dish mostly sold out around 10pm. For appetizer you should order the TAU POK which cooked with the bak kut teh soup and garlic. It is very soft and tasty as a starter. For spare part lovers, you can order the pig spare parts cooked with chinese liquor and ginger. The rice also is pretty special and not just serving white rice. The rice is mixed with red onion oil and a bit of crushed fry red onion.
