A few doors down the road on the same stretch as CHOP CHUNG WAH CHICKEN RICE which is their competitors. This restaurant have been reviewed by many famous food artist like Ah Sian from Astro. This 2 restaurant’s chicken rice taste the best after I ran through all of them at Jonker Street including Famosa Chicken Rice Ball. CHOP CHUNG WAH CHICKEN RICE usually sold out pretty early and this can consider as an alternative which relatively good. The difference is that Hoe Kee has asam fish and lotus root/black bean soup to go along with your chicken rice.

Very very traditional way of making peanut sweets. Very seldom can see it in the market already. From far you can hear clunk clunk sound in Jonker Walk. For first timer in Jonker Walk, people will thought that is a blacksmith shop.
