This restaurant is shifted and changed name from Cable Car restaurant which located within Jaya Shopping Complex. Due to Jaya is shut down for renovation, all the business there have to shift out. Their set lunch cost at RM14.90+ with the choice of Western or Oriental. Checkout the menu for further details on their menu.
Their service was fast and efficient. From placing order to food serve, it takes less than 15 minutes to serve a table of 4. However their steaks are over cooked when we ordered. The taste is not bad but try not to visit them during lunch peak hour for a good grill on your steaks.

Comment/Remark :
Nice environment and service for fine dining. When we enter the restaurant, we are greet by the captain and assist us to get a table. There are a lot of workers here which have their own role. During our visit, there are 3 birthday party going on. The restaurant gave 1 piece of small cake to the birthday guy/lady on the house with a piece of candle. Then they sing the birthday song and take a picture for you as a souvenier.
We ordered quite a number of dishes during our visits. We ordered a Sizzling Tornadoes Steak, Black Pepper Steak and Lamb Rib for main course. For starter we ordered San Francisco Salad, 1/2 dozen of escargot, sharks fin soup, lobster bisque and ox tail soup. The oxtail and sharks fin soup is pretty ok. Lobster bisque is not as good as the Lobsterman’s in SS2.
The steak is very tender and the sauce that goes with it taste perfect. On the escargot wise, Daniel said that the previous recipe is better where they use garlic sauce to cook it. They change the sauce flavor during our visit this round. For drinks we had 2 glasses of house pour wine and a glass of coke.
The bill come to RM230.81 for the whole dinner for 3 persons.

Comment/Remark :
I was once dunno what the hell is Chilis at first. My first Chilis restaurant visit was the Bangsar branch. I guess that is the first one in Malaysia. From the decorations of the outer shop and the location, there must be something special. Another thing is the signboard big mouth burger which attracts my attention when I approach the shop. I usually hang out at the 1 Utama branch after a nice movie show at GSC cinema.
For starters, we ordered Tostada chips which is lightly salted and comes with a bowl of cold salsa sauce which is freshly made daily. The chips is unlimited refillable. Price for this chip is RM9.95. Another good companion that goes along very well with the chip is the original “Chili” which is a type of sause which cooked with minced beef meats. When they serve the chili, it is baked with little bit of cheese and come with 2 piece of Jacobs wheat biscuit for dipping. Usually we dip it with the Tostada chips. For a high tea or hang out session these combination is very ideal and the soft drinks/juices are unlimited refill.Price for the drinks are RM7.95 for juices and RM6.30 for soft drinks.
On the main course, the first thing I have tried is their Beef Bacon Burger and my coleaque had the Old Timer Burger which comes without the bacon. You can order your burger like the way you order your steak which come in rare, medium or well done. The burger comes with a very thick beef patty, old aged cheese, beef bacon, vegetables and french fries. It is very hard to eat if you didn’t divide it into 2 portions. You can still eat it in one shot but I can guaranty that your face will definately get messy. After a few visits, I decided to order 1 burger and share with other. This will let us enjoy more Tostada chips to worth the money we are paying for.
After such a heavy meals, you can order for their Presidente Margarita. A very nice ice shaken alchohol drink.

Comment/Remark :
Best grilled sizzling steak I’ve had in KL. The steak is very thick cut so the meat stays very juicy and tender. The dish comes with a Salad and a side dish of potato cuts and cauliflower in a cream sauce. It is also good to order a side order of white bread to soak up the left-over gravy after you finish the steak. The building is quite old but that’s part of it’s rustic charm.*By EGTAN

Comment/Remark:
The nasi lemak is home made style and can be customized with their different type of curries. You can mix and match up to 5 types of currys and meats.
There are quite a varieties to choose from their western food kitchen ranging from lamb, pork, chicken and beef. All the meats were grilled to perfection depends on how rare you want it to be. However their soup is pretty diluted eventhough it is freshly cooked.
