This restaurant from far you will notice that this restaurant’s signboard looks like a vegetarian house or some old school furniture shop. When you walk in, you will get a very cozy environment to dine in. All the tables and furnitures are authentic baba nyonya style.
Myself, Daniel and Joyce budgeted RM100 for this round and end up we ordered all the foods in the pictures. The foods taste so good as it is prepared the Penang way. From the first sip of the braised pork (Tau Yeu Bak) we already confirmed this is authentic Penang. Same goes for the pepper pork belly soup with its spicy yet warming aroma.
The Peony Garden special drinks is very special and refreshing. It has a strong lemon grass smell and also some other herbs in it.
Our bill came up with a total of RM112.00 for a satisfying dinner at Peony Garden. Average item cost from RM12 to RM20

A lots of antique decorations. Service is good too. Upon walkin to the restaurant, the first feel you get is like you are walking into a museum. Go further in, you can see all the tables with a nice cozy environment for dining. However during our visits, we had too much chicken rice balls. Will try it next time we go down to Melaka.
