Very crowded during lunch time and they have a wide variety of choices on the yong tau fu. All standard bowl of noodles come with 2 pieces of fried fish cakes.

Compared to Ampang Homeland Yong Tau Fu which I have done review earlier, this restaurant does not live up to my expectation as per describe by locals which said this restaurant is where Yong Tau Fu is born. The environment is very hot and your clothes will have fried yong tau fu smell after having your lunch there.

Choices wise, you can’t pick what you want for first order. All you need to do is to tell them how many person’s portion you want and order extra per items when it is not enough. This is fine for me. So we end up ordered for 5 persons portion which serve pretty quick even the whole restaurant is full house.

Taste wise, we don’t find it good as the soup are pretty salty. Overall it is just so so.

The curry laksa taste not bad especially it comes with chickens. The asam laksa is not up to the Penang standard. I can only taste the over sour soup and less fish. In front of the restaurant, there are a cold tau fu fah van which serves a relatively good soya bean curd which comes with various flavours.

Remark:
The service of this shop is real good and fast. First talk about the parking. One of the boss himself help you take care of your car and cover it with card boards to make it less heat to your car. Help to take care the traffic when you leaving the restaurant.

Interval between order and food served are less than 10 minutes. Taste wise is good for a first timer here. Local Ampang peoples do mention that 3 of the traditional yong taufu restaurants here, this shop is famous for its fried pandan chicken wing, asam fish and their pork with vinegar. Average taste for its yong tau fu. But I find that it is very tasty base on my opinion. It differs with every individual.
