At the core, we are a small chain of seafood restaurants committed to providing a casual environment where everyone can enjoy a great meal and have some fun too.
Food is the hero at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company. We serve food that makes our employees proud and will make you want to return. Our menu features shrimp, of course. But we’ve won awards for our dixie-style baby back ribs and our drink menu as well. Once you’ve had one of our margaritas hand-shaken at your table, you’re sure to be a fan.
If you’ve dined with us before, thank you. We hope to see you again soon.
If we haven’t met yet, we hope you’ll stop in soon to have a great meal and make some new friends.

Recommended Foods : Small and big xiao long bao. Herbal Pork noodle soup and the X.O. Fried Rice

Remark:
The big xiao long bao comes with a straw for you to suck the soup out before eating the bun. Overall the service is good and the food here are definitely better than Dragon-i . The normal xiao long bao doesn’t taste that good as the skin are quite dry. One set back is that below the bamboo thing (Don’t know how to call that), they should put in cabbage rather than just putting the xiao long bao on top.

Remark:
Waroeng Penyet was initially opened on 5th January 2007 in Block 81 Marine Parade Central #01-638, Singapore.
The word “Waroeng” means a traditional hut in Indonesia that serve ranges choices of traditional authentic food with a reasonable price (unlike fine dining restaurants). The word “Penyet” means “Flattened” as most of the main dishes are being flattened. But this is just a Javanese-style of making the food unique as compared with other dishes. It does not affect in terms of taste or quality.
Waroeng Penyet was opened by 4 Indonesians who have been living in Singapore for a few years and longing to serve a real traditional Javanese food to the locals as well as to Indonesians who reside here. Due to good response and demand from customers, Waroeng Penyet has opened its 2nd branch in Blk 134 Jurong East St 13 (Jurong Cafe food court) in order to cater to the residents around there.
Within few weeks after opening, few media have come and did a publicity due to the good response from customers and also the good taste of several signature HALAL dishes like Ayam Penyet (the original one), Empal Penyet, Ayam Bakar, Siomay Bandung (Fish Dumplings w/ Peanut Sauce), Chicken Satay and Chicken Soto. On top of all that, the factors that make Waroeng Penyet different than the other restaurants that serve similar dishes are the belachan chilli (sambal terasi) as we serve spicy and mild version. This chilli is freshly made every morning in a very traditional way by our Yogyakarta-originated head chef. As for the drinks, our specialty drinks are Avocado Juice, Ice Cendol, Happy Soda and Teh Botol. All the dishes are priced reasonably to cater all markets here.

Remark:
Marché is a totally FRESH concept in dining pioneered by Mövenpick in Europe in 1983. Marché ( pronounced ‘Mar-Shay’) is an extravaganza – a hive of culinary and market activity where the only constant is change. It abounds with color from the mountains of produce, baked goods, meats, fish, pastries, fruits and other foods.
Colorful tiles, flagstone flooring, bright awnings and ceiling hangings, barrels, baskets and wagons create the flavour of a bustling European market.
Each guest has a ‘market passport’ that is stamped with the items selected and then settled with the cashier as they leave the restaurant.
The shop signature is a red cow with swiss cross on its body.

Comment/Remark :
The concept of their business is very similiar with J.CO Donuts & Coffee in Pavillion KL. The logo of both company is differentiate by a lady for J.CO and a building for Big Apple. Box and price structure also is similiar. We don’t know who copy who but there are differences in the flavour of the donuts offered.
Big apple has chicken meat floss and durian.
In terms of service, Big Apple is better than J.CO. For my taste I prefer Big Apple more than J.CO because the donut are softer and taste better. This is base on my liking only and it differ from every individual taste.

Comment/Remark :
When you visit O’Briens for the first time, you will be having trouble to choose. You will at least need 5 minutes to run through the menu. Each of the sandwich comes with plenty of different ingredients. Just the bread selection part, there are 7 different type of breads to choose from. You can order the one on the menu or outside the menu which you customize your own sandwich. So I’ve decided to order their house specialty “CRAMBO™ CLUB WITH HAM, TURKEY, COLESLAW, CUCUMBER, TOMATO, RED ONION & MIXED LEAVES” triple decker sandwich for myself, “CHICKEN & BACON TRIPLEDECKER WITH COLESLAW, RED ONION & MIXED LEAVES” and “TUNA SWISS MELT TOOSTIE™ WITH SEAFOOD SAUCE, RED ONION, TOMATO & MIXED LEAVES” for my friends.
Mostly the upper part is filled with fresh vege and the bottom part are filled with meats. No need to worry whether you had a big mouth to bite this monster. They cut it just nice to bite size. First bite to these sandwiches will give you a feeling of putting potato chips in your bread. In fact it is not. It is the turkey ham which is crispy. Then at the side of your sandwich, it is accompanied by some potato chips.
For drinks we ordered “STRAWBERRY QUENCHER: STRAWBERRIES, ORANGE JUICE” (mixture of fresh strawberry and orange ice blended) and “SMOOTHIE CLASSICO: STRAWBERRIES, BANANA, ORANGE JUICE, FROZEN YOGHURT” (Ice blended with strawberries, orange juice, banana and frozen yoghurt). It really helps in digestion.
