Remark:
One of the famous Cendol stall located at Jonker Street. This shop is famous for its environment which decorated by plenty of archeology artifacts displayed on the wall display. Furthermore this shop also is been endorsed by 8TV Hochak show. But my personal opinion, I still prefer the Bibik House Cendol as it taste much much better located down the road.

Remark :
The ice shaver of this shop is used since 1928. However they put a motor on the top to make the ice shaving faster which use to be using hands to spin it. The shop environment still maintain the old structure, furnitures and equipments. This shop is famous among local chinese peoples who wants a cold dessert in the evening or after walking few hours under the hot sun in Stadthuys.
This shop is reviewed by plenty of bloggers and local medias for its Pak Poh Ice. Pak Poh syrup is a combination of 8 types of chinese herbals which is a family recipe for Min Chong for generations. You can have the option of adding the home made ice cream to your pak poh ice. The ice cream is very smooth and creamy and I can say is close to the smoothness of Haagen Daz.
Besides cold dessert, they serve a pretty special rojak which consist of kangkung, cuttle fish, pineapple, taukua, cucumber, mengkuang and stired in shrimp paste with chili. The taste is really good ……

Remark :
Nice Cendol with authentic Melaka Coconut Sugar. The one in Penang Cendol is a little bit different with this. The sugar used here are coconut sugar which called “Gula Melaka” by the local people. Penang’s is using brown sugar. The sugar is very very thick plus strong in taste. If you put too much into your cendol, it will definately too sweet and thick till you can’t put into your mouth. Certain people don’t like too sweet stuffs, so there are a bowl of plain crushed ice come together upon served.
The pineapple tarts is the one usually will grab people’s attention when entering the shop. The smell from the oven baking the butter pineapple tarts is very nice. We ordered a box of 12 to test it out and find that the tart is absolutely fantastic in terms of the ingredients used, baked time and the freshness. There are many other local foods for tourist to buy.
