All the noodles are freshly made daily and there are no left overs. The noodles are made from premium flours and Omega 3 eggs without addition of any liquid or water. No preservatives or food conditioner added so therefore it is a very healthy noodle.
The noodles are very springy feeling when you put into your mouth. Combine with the pickled chili, it is a heaven. The mee actually is called Wan Tan Mee by its normal look. This restaurant called it Bamboo Noodles as it is made by using bamboo. Usually they serve you the noodle without the pork lard. Go ahead and ask for it and definitely it will make you fly after eating together with the noodle. The pork lard fried fresh daily too.

Go slow with the chilly. If you put too much, later too spicy till you are not able to eat it and will definitely smoke your ass later on. Suggest you to order 2 bowls first for prevent waiting for too long on your second bowls.
Opposite this shop, there are another shop called Super Kitchen Chilly Pan Mee which is pretty good. Kin Kin claim that they copy their recipe as the taste are quite same. I’ve taste the Super Kitchen’s branch in Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara PJ.

Recommended Food :Penang Curry Mee and the Koey Teow Soup
Remark:
Put the more chili the better. The chili is what makes the whole bowl of curry mee tasty. In the picture there are no cockles and pig bloods because I don’t take them. You can ask for more if you love it.
Try go for the big ones (Big sometimes doesn’t mean add more mee. You can add more ingredients you want such as more squids, fish balls, fish cakes, prawns and whatever is available there)

Comment/Remark:
The slice chicken hor fun with soup. No need to say as illustrated in the picture. It is fantastic. Imagine we can’t ask for extra bowl of soup from the seller. He won’t give you extra soup just like that. He will ask you to order one more bowl. The soup is cooked with plenty of big prawns and without MSG. Dry version is pretty normal.
The chee cheong fun here is served the old school way with sweet sauce and green chili. Nothing special about it. The popiah is nice. Same goes for the satay. The way they sell satay here is pretty different. Let say you want to try out the satay. You no need to tell them how many you need. They will cook some and serve you in advance with mixture type of satay like the pig spare parts, chicken, beef and beef spare parts.
The best dish I had in Kong Heng is the custard pudding. It is served with a cold cup of plain water when you order. Some people will taste is too sweet and add a bit of water. For me is perfect. This is a fast moving item. Get there early or it will sold out before even lunch time. You can buy and store it in your home refrigerator. It taste even better.
This is the best place to find taugeh chicken in the day time. The taste is pretty close to Onn Kee and Low Wong Bean Sprout Chicken.
