Canton Fare Solaris Mont Kiara, The King Of Roast Char Siu and Siu Yoke from Hong Kong
Canton Fare is located in Solaris Mont Kiara, a newly developed township, filled with restaurants. Yup, a culinary heaven featuring Chinese, Japanese, Western, local delights and many more. Usually, I would access it from Plaza Mont Kiara but you can also use the Jalan Duta. I would recommend you to park your car at the basement rather than rounding to look for car park.

Fried Fish Skin as complimentary snacks! This is as good as the one I had in Sushitei.
Starter – Cold Dish

Sliced Meat With Garlic Sauce RM 16
For a start we were served 2 cold dish which 1 is a meat and another one is a black fungus on ice. The lean meat were thinly sliced and placed together with sliced cucumber and then laden on top with house special garlic sauce. This is the first time I try this and I love it! The garlic is pungent but it goes well in this combination.

Ice Fungus RM 16
Icy cold black fungus dipped in mustard sauce. Result? Sour, chilling and a lil kick from the spiciness of the mustard.
Main Course

Crispy aromatic duck RM 38
The duck are braised then deep fried. After that it is ripped to small piece which the way to savor it is exactly the same like Peking duck.

The fluffy rice flour wrap

mix with spring onion and cucumber topped with duck and chilli sauce simple irresistible. The taste are close to Peking duck but very unique.

Couple Kai lan RM 24
Fresh poach Kai Lan with deep fried crunchy Kai Lan vege on top with baby anchovies.

Crispy Bitter gourd, egg plant, prawn with salted egg RM 25
Deep fried Salted egg yolk coated bitter gourd, egg plant and prawn earn this dish a Chinese Tempura for my naming. It is more tasty than the Japanese style.

Braised tofu with roast pork and vegetable RM25
The good old companion for healthy dinner braised tofu in clay pot with roast pork and vegetables.

Two roast meat , BBQ pork and roast pork RM 32
This is the star dish of the restaurant which they are well known for. The crispy skin roast pork and the fragrant caramelized char siew are just perfect. The roast recipe and cooking methods were handled by their head chef in the kitchen where the quality of their best roast dishes are well kept in quality.

Pi Feng Tang Prawns RM 38
Special sugar coasted prawn balls.

Taiwanese 3 cup chicken RM 22
Taiwan famous claypot 3 cup chicken where it goes well with a bowl of white rice. Until today I am still wondering why they call this 3 cup chicken. I try to figure out base on which aspect they call it 3 cups chicken. Screw that idea …. this is still a great dish irregardless what it is named.
Noodles

Braised Kuey Teow with sea food RM 16
Braised pan fried flat noodle and then braised with thick seafood gravy. However I would personally prefer the flat noodle to be fried a lil bit longer to give the superior soya sauce more

Vegetarian Mee Sua RM 10

SI Yau Wong Fried Noodles RM 16
This dish is one of the RECOMMENDED to order. At first the name give me an impression they are using normal noodle but when served it is a thin noodle which come close to wantan noodle. The noodle are springy and chewy. It also absorb the gravy and make every slice flavorful.
Dessert

Red Bean Pan cake RM 10

Red Bean soup RM 5

Osmathus Flower “Tang Yuan” RM 8
