How many of you have visited The Apartment Restaurant & Bar located at The Curve Mutiara Damansara? This place although located in a renown shopping center, still it carries a comfortable feel as you step in to the restaurant.

In line with its concept, The Apartment in town gives a fresh feel to urban contemporary living, with its large open spaces, filled with warm lightings and natural senses revolving around comfort, familiarity and luxury. Its concept is unique in layout that resembles the elements of the modern home. It reflects a living room, library spaces, food bar, pantry, bedroom with sofa beds, wardrobe and even bathroom accessories of a home. The elements of a modern home makes The Apartment a place to kick off your shoes, relax with friends of family, and share the joys of a cozy and friendly environment.

The entrance to the restaurant that tells you a lot of homey interior design and filled with home style furnitures.

You can even see a shower setup on the wall. Lucky those showers are for decor only and no water pipe connected to it. If it is connected, we will going to get wet if a cheeky kid go and turn on the tap.

The restaurant is suitable to host all sorts of corporate events where you can chill out after work. Premium wines and beers are available on tap and bottles. Just lift your hand up for service. They are pretty attentive.

There are bed used as a chair for customer to sit which I find it is very comfortable.

The whole month of April, the apartment restaurant & bar is serving up a special 2 part deep sea delicacies themed menu in conjunction with the launch of The Chef Series.

The Chef Series is the apartment’s latest promotional menu that feature the culinary flair of its talented chefs specially created to cater to guests seeking a tantalising lip-smacking gourmet experience. The THE UNLIMITED FLAVOURS OF THE OCEAN (PART 1), the first menu kicks start in April. Some of its fresh selections include oysters, scallops, king prawns, red snappers and squids.

Oyster Shot – RM11.90

A very refreshing and tantalizing shot of fresh oyster paired with mango and lime juice simply bring out the appetite for the night.

Stuffed Squid – RM25.90

Baked squid stuffed with herbs rice, served with okra and seafood gumbo. I would say the chef are really creative that he use what is easily available around him. Rice are our staples. It is stuffed in a grilled squid and then served on seafood gumbo. The squid itself do not have any taste and the seafood gumbo brings out the kick fron the squid.

Surf ‘n’ Turf (New Dish!)

Sirloin steak cuts served with au jus, garlic, chillies, honey glazed tiger prawns & mash.

Almond Crusted Cod

Almond crusted cod fillet served with clams beurre blanc and tomato confit.

Pan fried red snapper with couscous and lemon butter reduction

Jamie’s Duck Pasta

Fettuccine tossed with shredded slow-roasted duck and tomato red wine ragout, topped with toasted pine nuts.

Tossed Pasta Plain

Sautéed bird piping hot birds eye chilli, garlic, coriander and basil tossed with linguine on olive oil. The most basic Italian pasta dish yet taste the best.

Prawn Capellini

Capellini pasta tossed with tiger prawns, lemon zest, garlic, olive oil and marjoram

English Lamb Curry – NEW! A MUST TRY

Slow braised lamb served with basmathi briyani rice, a whole hard boiled egg, carrot raita (yoghurt) and cashew nuts. This dish taste resembles the famous Nasi Briyani Gam. The fragrant rice mixed with the lamb chop cooked like rendang like simply delicious!

    love the oyster shot and the palm sugar dumpling. these are 2 very memorable dishes for the night:D
