MIGF 2010 – Spa Cuisine At The Pomelo, Banjaran Hot Springs Retreat

Premium Black Cod Fish with 4 bean stew, Clam juice and Dried Beef Bacon featuring a wholesome dose of beans comprising canneloni, black eye peas (not the one with Fergie in it .. lol), kidney beans and green peas. The fillet were pan seared to perfection while the skin were deep fried till cracker crunch which I love it so much.

After that, we were served with a succulent cut of Roasted Lamb Coin coated with Macadamia Nut prized for its tenderness and subtle flavour.

Just look at that piece of medium done roast lamb. Perfetto! Those sticks which hold the Macadamia nuts were not toothpicks or coconut leave broom sticks. It was the crunchy breads which baked fresh daily in the kitchen.

The lamb were served with a Spinach and Carrot Terrine which look like Sarawakian traditional layer cakes but taste a whole lot different. This is much healthier and good for our body.

The special lamb sauce to pair with the meat.

The finale of the feast ended with a Bang! where I had the best dessert for MIGF 2010.

Mascarpone Pomelo Cream with Tomato, Strawberry and Aged Balsamic coupled with Banjaran Chocolates

That 3 piece of red tentacles were actually hand made sugar.
