My Hong Kong and China Gourmet Tour Itinerary With Tour2U Holidays Sdn Bhd

It is a dream of mine as a foodies to be able to go for a tour just for food! What can you expect more when you are having Malaysia leading Gourmet Tour Guide, dine side by side with gourmet celebrity and sight seeing to relax your self. All are just perfect! Following from my post which I wrote earlier to join Hugo Leung on a gourmet tour, I finally get hold of the itinerary.

All the pictures above were taken from Tour2U recent GOURMET TOUR to Taiwan which last for 5 days 4 nights. It was hosted by my idol restaurateur cum chef Mr Hugo Leung who are very knowledgeable in  all sorts of gourmets be it Asian and Western. I went to see Anne, who are one of the TOP Malaysian Gourmet Tour tour guide at her office to get hold of the information of the menu and activities when we are in Hong Kong and China on this upcoming trip on March 4th, 2010. Before we go into that, checkout the video below on the trailer of their recent food tour. I am impressed!

The whole package for my upcoming tour is RM4,488 per person which inclusive of air tickets (economy class flying either with MAS or Cathay Pacific), airport tax, 5 stars hotel accommodation, all paid meals (4 Breakfast, 3 Lunch and 4 Dinners), ferry ride, city sightseeing, dine with celebrity Mr Hugo Leung and lead by Malaysia’s Elite Gourmet tour guide (Ms. Anne Tan of Tour2U) which can guaranty you laugh all the way during the whole tour. Foods Highlight

Day 1 in Hong Kong:

We will fly from KLIA and by the time we touch down Hong Kong, it should be coming to late evening and the timing are just right where we going to dine at Hugo Leung’s restaurant (Tai Weng Wah Restaurant). We are going to start it off by savoring YUEN  LONG POON CHOI. Besides this there are more foods to be served. Check out the attached PDF.

Day 2 :
Shan Tou Province – Famous for all sorts of stew and braised foods. One of the highlight is “KAM YOKE MOON TONG” and fried dry oyster.

Day 3 :
Guang Zhou Province – Pigeon Feast where all the dishes are pigeon related. This is the place where I use to hang around for 3 months when I was working in Guang Zhou. Excellent place where they show you how to cook a chicken. There are more than 100 types of way to cook a chicken.

Day 4 :
Zhao Qing Province – Organic foods and own bred fish. How it is prepared, you will need to checkout the menu as I don’t read Chinese.
