Diamonds and a perfectly dreamy evening spell romance and culinary pleasure this Valentine’s at Avanti Italian-American Ristorante in Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa. On the upcoming Saturday (13 Feb 2010) and Sunday (14 Feb 2010), loving hearts can rekindle passion while indulging in contemporary Italian flavours and a dose of sentimental ballads. The evening topped off by an opportunity for one lucky diner, each evening, to win a bling bling half-carat diamond courtesy of MY DIAMOND (Worth RM10,000); making it a truly affectionate and memorable occasion.
Avanti’s Italian Chef de Cuisine Claudio Cucchiarelli showcases his finesse for crafting love inspired creations in a passionately orchestrated 5-course dinner menu with wine pairing, priced RM396++ per couple. Each couple also receives two Mandara Spa RM50 vouchers and a fresh stalk of rose for the lady. We are honored to be able to have Chef Claudio himself to sit with us during the whole dining session. With his vast experience in culinary and cooked before at so many places, his stories behind all the cooking are quite interesting.
For a start we were presented with a variety type of breads freshly baked from the kitchen together with some cheeses.
As a prelude for the meals, the Lobster Tower served with Zucchini and White Beans makes an enticing start to the love-filled evening. Chef Claudio deftly draws out the natural sweetness of the fresh lobster, accentuating its flavours with the delicate hints of deep-fried zucchini and the creamy texture of the white beans.

Perfect for lovey dovey couples on valentines day
I stayed there once, and tasted their buffet too.. but it’s been like 10 years before… the food quality was superb at that time…. I bet it didn’t went too far for this right??

Still as good ….. Very authentic Italian
i stayed there once as well, but ended up eating in Sunway Pyramid. Hahaha .. though the buffet breakfast was ok.
