Restoran Taste Good at Bandar Puteri Puchong

Tucked in the old area of Puchong where they are the first few tenants of the commercial area, lies a long standing old Chinese Family restaurant which serve a decently priced seafood.

From the picture above, you can see that Restoran Taste Good setup is mostly for family sized tables. With a clean and comfortable environment, this is a good place for you and your family to dine together on a round table surrounded by good and cheap foods.
We were at this restaurant to celebrate home coming for Chris and Christine together with other fellow food bloggers.

We were hosted by the lady boss Ms Ong who introduce us all the gorgeous foods from the kitchen.

According to Ms. Ong, the chef (his brother) was a former chef in Oversea Restaurant in Ipoh where they begins. He carries a wide range of banquet to fine chinese dining cooking experience.
We were first greeted with ??? Stir fry Dried & Fresh cuttle fish with Onions and Peas

??? Stir fry Dried & Fresh cuttle fish with Onions and Peas – RM15
It is a combination of 2 types of squid and cuttle fish stir fried together with green beans and capsicum. The squid were fresh and match with fresh greens make it a good start for our upcoming heavy weight dishes.

A short while later all the foods were served one after another.

????? Claypot Spare Ribs with Bitter Gourd – RM15
I am not a fan of bitter gourd because of the bitterness taste. But this one different. It doesn’t have bitter taste at all and match with the pork ribs very well. With little spicy taste from the red chili make it taste soooooo good on a rainy day.

pumpkin probably to give that glowing, vibrant yellow tinge to the dish, and a little sweetness.
compared to the usually creamier Nai Yau (butter cream).
i’ll take your word for it, ken.

Yea …. good service and feel we are their valuable customer.
I couldn’t really agree more to it. This is one of my favaourite spots when I was in Malaysia. The smell of the “Kam Heong” and the Butter crabs is already enough to take you all the way to the food heaven. Once you have a bite to the juicy meat that is filled with the delicious and aromatic gravy, you just couldn’t resist more. The other dish that I like the most is the “Ham Yue Fah Lam Poh” (THIN Sliced Pork with Salted Fish in the Pot). A simple and cheap dish, but it is one of the most delicious food around too. Anyhow, I have been to this restaurant more often than I can remember. In fact, every time I go back to Malaysia for my break, I will go to this restaurant as my 1st and must have food (Seafood in China is not something to shout about if it is to be compared to this restaurant).

I’ve added this restaurant to my preferred restaurant for crabs too
This is my must-go restaurant whenever I visit KL. The taste just remind me of the home-cooked food.
All very homey dishes – I especially like bitter gourd and pumpkin, cooked in almost any style.
