Restoran Calorie – The hottest Hong Kong Restaurant in Sri Petaling

Thanks to Penang Tua Pui for passing me a session to try out the foods at Calorie Sri Petaling. Last 2 weeks before I attend the session, I already watch about them on 8TV Hochak.

A week after getting on air in 8TV Hochak! show, they got an exclusive in Sunday Metro …. a column in The Star newspaper who introduce the latest hang around place or restaurants in Klang Valley. This restaurant must be having some really special stuff so I made my move and went to the invitation with Big Boys Oven.

The restaurant constantly packed with high turn over of customers when we were there.

The setup of the restaurant are pretty simple with a bright ambiance. The customers that patron here ranging from students, office workers and families. The boss Mr Paulson Loh is the one doing all the management and planning work here. Being a guy from Penang, I spoke with him in our dialects which find that he is a real marketing/sales guy. He really can “CHAR” and friendly. * Soli ah Tau Keh …. forgot to take a shot of your posing picture. Your food too nice already and made us forget XD. Basically when you mention the restaurant name, you will think that this will be a very healthy restaurant. I would say YES and NO in this case. Calorie is just the trademark name of the restaurant and not all the foods were so healthy type. Each food do have their own amount of calories whether it is low or high. We can’t get an accurate details of what we eat daily though for the calories/nutrients info. According to Paulson, previously he did tried to work out every foods in the menu very health conscious type which most of it were vegetables or organics. The customers end up complaining they get bored with it after a few times eating it. So as a smart business man, he change the menu to Hong Kong style which later on very successful.
