Continuing from my previous post which highlight about Tamarind Hill, we have talked about their place, the food, recipes to cook moa hor and Thai chicken with basil leaves and century eggs which demonstrate by their chef. Besides all that we were entertained by their The Apsara Deva dancers which choreographed by Maple who is an accomplished dancer and choreographer here in Malaysia.

It is not a very good restaurant as what all people talked about.
Pricy food not up to standard. Bad service….worst than few years back and you get slashed once you stepped in there as all waiters waiting to con you.
We would prefer 8 years back when all friendly service provided.
We had a wedding dinner few years back and it was lovely. But now all too commercialize.
Tamarind Springs is no longer the only one that called Jungle restaurant. There are fews out there with better ambience.
What a shame to such a once …beautiful place.

Tamarind means “asam jawa” and Penny W is certainly one.

I am a paying customer with no affiliation with the estb. n i found the service to be excellent. The food was exceptionally good, piquant without being overpowering. All flavours are well balance and harmonious. Presentation was 1st class.

3 of us went and the bill came up to rm140 inc. 15%
we had a (4 season) tamarind starter, Thai chili fried rice, seafood tomyam and pink diamond dessert. Not cheap but well worth the memorable visit. Excellent to impress ur date. Very romantic ambience, a prelude to the hustle n bustle in the city.
