OK this weekend I’m going to jaya one already!
Oh, I really love the places which are cooking in olive oil because that is the only oil that I will cook with because we are watching cholesterol.
NO WAY to this restaurant!!
Been there last Friday, I arrived after my friends but the chef told me they are closed. It was just 8.30pm, and it was a Friday! With no doubt I was leaving after storied to my friends about the condition in dissapointment.
However, the restaurant continues take order from new walk-in customer…WHY??? Is this the way they treat customers in “selective mode”? Gosh this is ridiculous! My friends are very unhappy about this, and of course me too…
If this is a kind of discrimination or looking down at somebody, please stop the business. Somehow the restaurant is not that high class, and I do not think there is any problem with a T-shirt and jeans in my costume. This will be the 1st, and also the LAST for me to step into this kind of restaurant…
Nothing great about the food. An expensive version of KFC. However, I felt KFC tasted better though.
it really great man… sure better than kfc… frying with the olive oil… no such thing in the world i think done by them… Charlie… i think they got a reason for that because i just enter with my shirt & short…
food ok…

Portion a bit small =.=”
First of all let me clarify, I can’t find the link for the Branch open at Yishun Northpoint. So I am forced to comment here.
Let me first say beyond the presence of the first staff that greeted us, a Malay lady, the service from the rest of the staff was downhill all the way.
During the initial point of ordering, one of our orders was a grilled chicken salad. The gentleman who took our order whose command of the menu much less his English left much to be desired. When asked whether the salad dressing could be changed to thousand island, he hesitantly replied No. Rousing my suspicion, I ask him did he know what dressing the salad came with? Not only could he not answer, I had to ask him to go find out and the best part is when he came back, he couldn’t remember the dressing he just asked! At that time his colleague the Malay lady came and inform us it was a tomato dressing and that she needed to check with the Chef if the dressing could be changed. At which point the manager (I assume he was the manager as he was the only one in shirts and pants instead of uniform), walked by and took our order.
The drinks took more than 10 mins to be served. Upon which one of it being a float (having ice cream on top) didn’t come with a spoon, as it should and that long spoon appeared when we ask for it.
Then we decide to placed an additional order of french fries, and the lady (it was another who attended to us) say she will put in the order. After about another 10 mins, whereby we received no confirmation for the order, we thought to play it safe and inform the manager again.
My main course took more than 30 mins to arrive from the time we placed the order. My sister thinking that hers will follow shortly, ask me to start eating first. By the time I finished my main course (Korean Charboiled) and the additional order of french fries have arrived, my sister’s main course (the earlier mentioned grilled chicken salad with bearded fish, which in all fairness was lettuce slapped on with two pieces of meat and dressing) has yet to. Only upon my sister asking where was her main course (and she is very patient) did the order come about 10 mins later (if that is not a rushed order, I don’t know what is).
If it was just us, it may be understandable, but there was a couple next to us, who had a family of four besides them communicating between each other that they had waited close to 40 mins for their orders which had yet to arrive.
When my sister and I, first arrived the place was only half full, imagine the people who had come after us.
They may not have been rude, but their delivery of our orders was just plain terrible.
When we paid our bill, I was handed a promotional voucher for $10, I handed it straight back and said no thank you.
Korean Charboiled
Grilled Chicken Salad and Breaded Fish
Iced lemon tea
Iced Mocha (this had the ice cream)
French fires
totalling: $43.31/- for two
The food was average, which I can find of comparable quality hawker center and it took so long to come.
The hygiene was not good, while we waited for the food, there were house files buzzing to our table, which didn’t have any food.
The service was pretty bad, if seems they had insufficient training and the manager seems to be hiding at the cash counter, he wasn’t running the floor. A staff wasn’t aware of the items on their menu. And they didn’t announce the iten when it came, “sir, your korean charboiled”, no not there.
The only saving grace was the Malay lady.
