The branch out of Jalan Sultan’s Seng Kee Restaurant which famous and pioneer for claypot Lou Shee Fun. The restaurant owns by the same family and the taste are similiar with the original recipe. This restaurant serves more variety of dishes compared to the original Seng Kee’s. They serve rice and “Tai Chow” also besides the famous claypot lou shee fun and the wantan mee with fried garlic roast pork.

This restaurant sells noodles and mix rice in weekdays. They just hung a small banner stating Ipoh Dim Sum available in front of their shop. Even the writings also started to fade off. The environment looks a bit run down as it is operated for generations. This restaurant usually patron by regulars only as the location is not a hot spot. All the Dim Sum are freshly made on the spot. If you want the freshest quality dim sum, try visit them at 5am in the morning. I came a across this restaurant which introduce by my friend a newspaper vendor.

Along the Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, I have tried the top nasi kandar stalls which is Haji Ibramsha, Yaseen and this one. This is ranked the last out of all. There are nothing special out of their curries. It is just moderate and is crowded because of their strategic location.

This is a nice air-conditioned little shop located near Pudu Bus Station and Chinatown that serves Beef balls in soup with wantan-style noodles topped with minced pork meat. They have been in operations for a long time and are quite famous… having been reviewed by many others.
Highly recommended to try.

The soup is not as thick as the one in Klang Bak Kut Tehs. But however this restaurant’s bak kut teh is on par with the taste wise for its soup. All the meats are cook till very tender. Clay pots are use to ensure your bak kut teh is warm during the entire meal.

For dinner, this restaurants also serve steamboats as the air cond are used to serve bak kut teh during lunch and breakfast.
