A few doors down the road on the same stretch as CHOP CHUNG WAH CHICKEN RICE which is their competitors. This restaurant have been reviewed by many famous food artist like Ah Sian from Astro. This 2 restaurant’s chicken rice taste the best after I ran through all of them at Jonker Street including Famosa Chicken Rice Ball. CHOP CHUNG WAH CHICKEN RICE usually sold out pretty early and this can consider as an alternative which relatively good. The difference is that Hoe Kee has asam fish and lotus root/black bean soup to go along with your chicken rice.

I had tried this store. The chicken is tender and juicy. but the rice taste abit flat, doesnt have enough chicken aroma. chilli base still consider ok.
