Remark:
YO! Sushi is a British restaurant chain which was started by British entrepreneur Simon Woodroffe 10 years ago and is part of the YO! Company. YO! Sushi uses the Japanese style conveyor belt method of delivering sushi to customers. In each restaurant various sushi dishes and other Japanese cooked foods are prepared in a kitchen in plain view of customers and then set on the thin conveyor belt. The belt carries food around the restaurant in a circuit, allowing diners to pick any dish from the belt for consumption. The restaurants are mostly based in theU.K. with the majority in London, and a Scottish restaurant newly opened in Glasgow’s Silverburn Centre.
The plates on the conveyor belt and even ordered all have coloured rims and range in price from £1.70 up to £5. Green tea is unlimited for £1.25 and miso soup for £1.75. The menu is extensive with over 100 dishes and 40 hot ones, and it is organised into different sections such as maki, hot classics, and tempura.
Many restaurants have also been opened in the Middle East in Dubai and Kuwait, with the majority being in the city of Dubai. Others have been opened in other countries such as Malaysia, Russia and Ireland.
