Comment/Remark :
A Tai Thong group of restaurants. This restaurant is setup to promote chinese noodles for Tai Thong restaurants. Usually Tai Thong Restaurants are famous for its ala carte banquet style cuisine.
We went there in the group of 5 this round to test out the foods. Everyone of us ordered the Cincau White Coffee and all are very satisfied with it. I even had a second.
The first dish which we all tried are the Jiang Nan Fried Prawn Noodle. The gravy and the noodle goes along very well and the prawns are fresh with a reasonable size for the price paid. It also come with squids, century eggs and some mix vege. This dish is pretty good.
The kampung chicken rice and hong kong roast duck rice is not up to the expectation. The duck rice from RESTORAN SUNRISE ROAST DUCK taste better than their roast duck. The kampung chicken is way too plain to be eaten with white rice. The chicken is cooked and left it for quite some time and is getting dry. White chicken will only tasty if served hot. Same goes for the chicken marinated with chinese wine. By the time they serve it, it is cold. Taste wise is not bad if it is still hot as you can smell the chinese wine fragrant.
The chinese mix vege and seafood fried horfun is ok ok only. Nothing special about it and a bit pricey for that.
The Szechuan hot and sour soup is not bad. It is pretty spicy and the sour balance it pretty well.
