Comment/Remark :

A must to visit place for Japanese ramen lovers. Ajisen is very famous in Singapore and they have 10 restaurants through out the island. They even come up with Ajisen Membership Card which provide discounts up to 50% on ramen on certain days. In Malaysia, there are only one that is the 1Utama branch. The second restaurant is coming up soon and located in Sunway Pyramid. Ajisen is originate from Japan and Singapore is their distribution hub for their inventories. Ajisen is ranked no #1 ramen shop in Japan and Singapore.

The restaurant setup is pretty neat and relaxing. The place is good for bringing customer for having a discussion also. Coming to the food part, a MUST try ramen is the “nan-katsu ramen” which means tender pork ribs ramen. When you first slurp the soup into your mouth, you will definately feels this whole bowl of dish is a heaven ramen. The ramen is cooked to perfection without losing the bouncy feeling and the pork ribs are very soft. I like the pork ribs the most. There are fried garlics and chilis for you to add on if you like it spicy. According to the person in charge at this shop, most of the Japanese customers that came in to the shop usually will ask first whether there are still nan-katsu ramen available. If run out, they rather come back tomorrow for it.

For spicy ramen lovers, you should try their Volcano ramen. It comes with chilis on top and some pork meats covering the ramen. The sushi and sashimi is just pretty normal and you should try the fried lotus roots which is very crispy.
